Snap Lock Metal Roofing™ provides a limited warranty on its 26-gauge Painted Roll Form Steel roofing panels.
The panels feature a 15-inch standing seam profile with a 1.5-inch seam height and three 1-inch striations per panel (optional)
or
16 inch standing seam profile with a 1 inch seam height and three 1-inch striations per panel (optional ).
The panels are coated with a durable silicone-modified polyester (SMP) paint, applied to galvanized or aluminum-zinc alloy-coated steel that meets the following ASTM standards:
Warranty Coverage:
50-Year Steel Warranty:
Snap Lock warrants that the steel panels will not fail structurally due to rust-through perforation under normal atmospheric conditions for a period of 50 years from the original installation date. Snap Lock will replace defective panels deemed replaceable under warranty terms, with the understanding that older and replacement panels may differ in color. In no event shall Snap Lock’s liability exceed the original cost of the defective materials. Snap Lock shall not be held responsible for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to labor, freight, or other associated costs.
30-Year Paint Warranty- No Chalking:
Snap Lock warrants that the ASTM-approved and factory-applied SMP paint coating is a steel industry standard designed not to chalk beyond a No. 8 rating (ASTM D4214) for 30 years. The paint may fade according to the degree listed in the Hunter Douglas scale. In no event shall Snap Lock’s liability exceed the original cost of the defective materials. Snap Lock shall not be held responsible for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to labor, freight, or other associated costs.

Warranty Claims Process:
- Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering a defect.
- The Owner must provide proof of purchase, the original installation date, and a description of the defect.
- Snap Lock will review the claim and, if valid, provide replacement materials.
